ABOUT THE PROJECT

Oxford Propulsion manufactures innovative proprietary axial-flux motors for the automotive EV, marine and aerospace industries which offer OEM’s the most advanced technology of its kind, capable of ultra-high power to weight ratios and efficiency.

Designing an identity that reflected the companies green credentials as well as giving those 'in the know' an idea of what the company produces was all-important to our client. We're often contacted by companies who have interesting products, and as these products are always different, we specialise in being good listeners!

Our initial ideation started with a meeting to discuss look and feel, tone of voice, colour schemes and market positioning. We then took on board our client's preferences and produced a range of concepts for approval. 

We found our inspiration for the final concepts from an abstraction of the internal workings of the companies main product – an innovative axial-flux motor, and following several stages of amends once the final artwork was approved we applied the identity to a custom-coded mobile responsive website, replete with parallax scrolling imagery.
