ABOUT THE PROJECT

When one of our existing clients, The OGM Holdings Group asked us to art-direct the development of their new Terinex Flexibles website we were only too pleased to help.

Terinex Flexibles print flexible packaging for major supermarkets and leading food brands, as well as producing non-food packaging for the pet-food and medical industries in their factory in Derbyshire.

They use the latest technologies to print flexible films that have exceptional barrier properties to maintain the optimum moisture and oxygen content of perishable products – keeping them fresh and improving their shelf-life.

Our brief was to help explain visually what barrier films are, and how they can be used in context. We achieved this through use of visual metaphor and allegory, with the help of beautiful food photography that demonstrated barrier films in use.

We undertook on-site photographic shoots of the Terinex Flexibles staff, the factory and it's equipment and also numerous remote studio photoshoots of the types of food that are packaged using specialist barrier films.

Working in tandem with our client's marketing agency, we produced graphic visuals of the new website, with ongoing concept development that went through multiple refinements and several stages of amends. Once our client was happy with the concept artwork, this was produced as a wireframe website using our images taken for the project which were supplied for use in the final website which can be seen here: www.terinexflexibles.com
