ABOUT THE PROJECT

The NHS Primary Care Networks were established in 2019 and were identified as a body which could provide additional services within general practice to reduce pressure on the GPs and clinical staff.

There are three NHS doctors surgeries located in East Oxford which make up the City East Oxford Primary Care Network (CEOPCN). The surgeries are Cowley Road Medical Practice, Bartlemas Surgery and St Clements Surgery. The PCN provides additional services to practices, including Mind wellbeing workers, physiotherapists, clinical pharmacists, and social prescribers.

Following a client recommendation, we were asked to design a new brand identity for the City East Oxford PCN. We ensured that a comprehensive creative briefing session was held prior to starting the project, and worked closely with our client throughout each step of our three-stage design process to ensure that the work we produced met their brief.

We designed a range of bespoke logo concepts for our client to review, and were delighted to find that they chose the logo that we preferred as well. We proceeded to take their selected logo through to final artwork following only minor refinements.

The logo design project was then followed by several further projects to implement and apply the new branding to a range of useful digital products, including the production of a brand identity styleguide, branded MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel templates and an interactive digital learning environment welcome pack for professional trainees.

It's been a real pleasure for us to work with a client who was receptive to our creative visuals, and clear on what they wanted to achieve from the outset – thank you Leila!

WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID

“This is the first time I have worked with a graphic designer and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Dave explained the processes to me and discussed the varying options of what we could produce to meet the project brief.

Dave also took the time to learn about the organisation and what is important to us, which helped identify themes and use of colours to develop a brand and logo.

I am really pleased with the materials and logo produced which has dramatically enhanced the look and feel of the organisation. Dave has also been incredibly patient and flexible in meeting the organisation’s needs, I could not recommend Dave enough! Thank you to you and your team."
